Carmichael College is a fast-growing, co-educational school with a distinctly Christian environment. The Gospel-centred campus includes Outside School Hours Care, Carmichael Kids & Kindy, Creekside Cafe and Creekside Community Church.

Carmichael College, established in Morayfield in 2015, currently educates 950 students from Prep to Year 12. The College plans to grow its enrolment to a maximum of 1,400 students.

School Crossing Supervisors

Transport and Main Roads is looking for school crossing supervisors in our area to help get kids safely to and from school!
 
✅ Generous casual pay-rate starting at $38.40 per hour

Primary Teacher (Lower Primary)

The College is seeking applications from experienced and passionate Christian teachers to teach Primary students in our Lower Primary. Applicants should:

  • Have the ability to teach from a Christian perspective.
  • Be passionate about teaching and learning;
  • Be willing to take on new forms of pedagogy;
  • Be able to work in a full-time capacity;
  • Be team players;
  • Be committed to pastoral care.

Relief Teachers

The College is seeking applications from Christian professionals to fill Relief Teachers roles. All subject areas are welcomed across Primary School, Middle School and Senior School. The successful applicants will be practicing Christians, who are able to actively express the College’s Christian faith. Applicants will be Queensland registered Teachers who possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Have a Biblical worldview and integrate biblical principles in teaching and learning programs.
  • Ability to apply appropriate knowledge in order to teach prepared learning programs provided by the classroom teacher.
  • Knowledge of and the ability to implement effective and inclusive teaching and learning processes, including the use of learning technology and assessment, to establish a challenging learning environment in which students are encouraged to work towards attainment of their potential.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students including the use of appropriate interpersonal skills, and the ability to apply appropriate behaviour management strategies that contribute to the establishment and maintenance of a supportive learning environment.
  • An understanding of the need to work collaboratively with school staff and members of the wider community, in order to establish productive partnerships and achieve educational outcomes.
  • Provide for the physical, social, spiritual, and emotional well-being and the health and safety of students whilst at school
  • Establish and maintain appropriate interpersonal relationships between the school and community
  • Undertake playground and other supervision as required
