Carmichael College was established in Morayfield in 2015 and has a current enrolment of 700 students across Prep to Year 11. By 2025 the College will have reached Prep to Year 12 with future enrolment numbers capping at 1400.

Executive Assistant to the Head of Secondary

The College is seeking applications from experienced, self-motivated, team-oriented Executive Assistants to provide exceptional support to our Leadership Team. The successful applicant will be a highly trusted member of a friendly and hands-on office team.

About the Role:

This position is focused on providing support to the Head of Secondary. Day to day key tasks and responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Coordination of school events
  • Comprehensive professional email, and diary management
  • Scheduling meetings and appointments
  • Preparing forms, spreadsheets and documents
  • Minute taking at meetings
  • Maintaining confidential records
  • Extensive communication with a variety of external and internal stakeholders
  • Carrying out projects for the Leadership Team
  • Personal Assistant duties as required.

Campus Facilities Manager

Carmichael College is looking for a full time, proactive, hands on Campus Facilities Manager who will lead and manage a team of maintenance, grounds and cleaning staff to deliver exceptional levels of service across the Campus.

About the Role:
You will enjoy providing a high standard of service and care to ensure the Campus is maintained in a safe, clean, and functional state, supporting a positive learning environment.

About you:

  • You will have prior strong budgeting and resource allocation experience
  • A trade qualification is preferred but not essential
  • Demonstrate a high work ethic and exceptional work quality
  • Be able to provide strong leadership and mentoring for your team
  • Be highly organised with a successful track record in prioritising requests and managing workflows for yourself and your team
  • Have highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively at all levels of the organisational structure

Supply Teachers

The College is seeking applications from Christian professionals to fill Supply Teachers roles. All subject areas are welcomed across Primary School, Middle School and Senior School. The successful applicants will be practicing Christians, who are able to actively express the College’s Christian faith. Applicants will be Queensland registered Teachers who possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Have a Biblical worldview and integrate biblical principles in teaching and learning programs.
  • Ability to apply appropriate knowledge in order to teach prepared learning programs provided by the classroom teacher.
  • Knowledge of and the ability to implement effective and inclusive teaching and learning processes, including the use of learning technology and assessment, to establish a challenging learning environment in which students are encouraged to work towards attainment of their potential.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students including the use of appropriate interpersonal skills, and the ability to apply appropriate behaviour management strategies that contribute to the establishment and maintenance of a supportive learning environment.
  • An understanding of the need to work collaboratively with school staff and members of the wider community, in order to establish productive partnerships and achieve educational outcomes.
  • Provide for the physical, social, spiritual, and emotional well-being and the health and safety of students whilst at school
  • Establish and maintain appropriate interpersonal relationships between the school and community
  • Undertake playground and other supervision as required

Casual School Crossing Supervisor

A position exists for a Casual School Crossing Supervisor at Carmichael College, Morayfield.

Carmichael College will be performing the interviews, and the selected applicants will be sent to the Road Safety Office, Department of Transport and Main Roads, for further processing. The requirements are:

  • Ability to work in all-weather conditions and wear full Personal Protective gear (provided)
  • Need to be available both in the morning and/or afternoon on all school days
  • 1 hour and 15 mins per day – a maximum of up to 5 days per week (on a rostered basis)
  • Relief opportunities on your rostered days off
  • Pay Rate $35.98 per hour

Commencement of employment for the successful applicant is dependent on:

  • The favourable outcome of a health assessment (paid for by TMR),
  • Obtaining a Positive Notice Blue Card before starting (paid for by TMR)
