At Carmichael College, the safety and wellbeing of our students is at the heart of everything we do. As part of our commitment to providing a safe learning environment, all volunteers are required to hold a valid Queensland Blue Card or Exemption Card before undertaking any volunteer activities at the College.

Applying for a Blue Card
Volunteer Blue Cards are free and can be applied for online through Queensland Blue Card Services (Link Here).
When completing your application, please ensure you nominate Carmichael College as the organisation you will be volunteering with.
If you have any questions about the application status, please contact the Blue Card Services for assistance.
I already have a Blue Card or Exemption Card
If you have already applied for or hold a Blue Card that is not yet linked to the College, we will be able to link your card once you have submitted your application form and provided your BlueCard number or reference number, D.O.B and expiry date.
Renewing Your Blue Card or Exemption Card
Blue Cards / Exemption Cards must remain current while you are volunteering at Carmichael College.
You are responsible for monitoring your card expiry date and applying for renewal through Blue Card Services before you card expires. You must ensure your card remains current for the duration of your volunteer service.
If your card expires, is suspended, cancelled or otherwise ceases to be valid, you must not undertake volunteer activities at the College and must notify the College immediately.
