5. Working with Children Screening

As part of the College's commitment to child safety, applicants are required to advise the College of any current working-with-children screening matter that may affect their ability to volunteer with children.
Are you currently subject to any Negative Notice, adverse working-with-children screening decision, suspension, cancellation, refusal or other restriction in Queensland or another Australian state or territory that affects or may affect your ability to work or volunteer with children?

11. Volunteer Requirements

Before commencing volunteer activities at Carmichael College, approved volunteers are required to:

• Hold a current and valid Queensland Blue Card or Exemption Card.
• Have their Blue Card or exemption card linked to Carmichael College.
• Complete the required annual Volunteer Induction.
• Complete the required child protection training.
• Read and comply with the College's Volunteers handbook and relevant policies and procedures.
• Follow the College's sign-in and sign-out procedures.
• Follow reasonable directions provided by College staff.
• Undertake only activities that are within the scope of their approved volunteer role.
